Please follow our school COVID Safe guidance:

Wear a mask on public transport

Do not come into the building if unwell

Wash your hands on entry to school

Reduce touch and sharing where possible

All adults should complete a COVID questionnaire

Wipe down surfaces and equipment after use

Wash your hands throughout the day

Be mindful everyone has a different experience and  opinion on the Corona Virus pandemic. If your child is displaying all of the following symptoms please do not send them into school and contact the school office for advice:

  • Dry persistent cough
  • High temperature
  • Loss of Smell and taste

Please share concerns or queries with us on the gate.

Guidance to parents / guardians and carers: when you should book a coronavirus test for your child

Hackney Council have asked us to share the below with parents / guardians and carers.

Please only book a test if their child has any of these 3 coronavirus symptoms:

  • a high temperature: any new high temperature where your child feels hot to touch on their chest or back (you do not need to measure the temperature)
  • a new continuous cough: coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours
  • a loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste: a

noticeable loss of smell or taste or things smell and taste different to normal

Children do not need a test if they have a runny nose, are sneezing or feeling unwell but do not have a temperature, cough or loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste. This is because these are not normally symptoms of coronavirus.
