Ofsted Report

Find our most recent Ofsted report and previous Ofsted reports below.

School Policies

Explore
Gainsborough is a part of the Primary Advantage Federation of schools and we review our policies on a regular basis. When a policy review is required, consultation is also undertaken with wider stakeholders including our school Governors.

Pupil Premium

Explore
The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

PE & Sports Premium Funding

Explore
The Department for Education (DfE) are spending over £450 million on improving physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. The funding will be allocated directly to primary school’s to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all pupils.

Rights Respecting School

Explore
Gainsborough Primary School is a rights respecting school.  This means that we put the 54 articles in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of everything we do. As a school we promote children’s rights and empower them to become global citizens. The UNCRC recognises that all children around the world are entitled to these rights.

Test Results

Explore
When a pupil reaches the end of Key Stage 2, they are required by law to sit the Year 6 SATs test; unless a child meets a particular set of requirements which exempts them from taking the tests. The results from the SATs tests are published every December for the public to see.

Inclusion and Equalities

Explore
At Gainsborough school we welcome and value all children equally irrespective of special educational need or disability. We are committed to providing equal access, for all children, to a broad and balanced social and academic curriculum, including the new National Curriculum, and to the life of the school.

SEND

Explore
With reference to Article 23 from the UN convention of the Rights of the Child: Children who have any kind of disability have the right to special care and support, as well as all the rights in the Convention, so that they can live full and independent lives.
