Well done Year 6 Doves. An incredible show, a wonderful achievement and a feel good factor of 100 to end your primary school ‘daze’ on!

These Year 6 pupils taught us all a thing or two today. 1. You can lead at any age. 2. It is so important to push out into the world what you want to receive, our children listened and learnt from you today because you listen and model learning for them everyday! 3. You cared and made every effort to explain and make it enjoyable for everyone. Thank you year 6!

Come and celebrate the end of primary school with our year 6 pupils in their end of year play. The children will look back and celebrate the children’s time at school as they remember those unique moments: poor parents evening, overly over the top teachers, holding mum’s hand and kissing goodbye, new hair and make up style disasters and not forgetting the gruelling and challenging SAT’s… the laugh-out-loud list is endless. All welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

We were rained off this week, let’s try again… new dates and times added for years 1,2,3,45 and a separate event for year 6. Please take note!

We held our EYFS and Preschool Sports Day this afternoon. We were stunned by the abilities and competence with which the children completed all of the activities, well done to our youngest athletes. We were blown away by the amount of families who came to support us today, thank you for being so supportive and positive with our children. And lastly, we were impressed by a little nugget of Gainsborough’s character, which showcased our incredible year 6’s leading the events with such confidence, care and compassion. Well done Gainsborough! #keepkind #keepgiving #keephealthy

Day 5 at the Kench Hill residential centre. Team building! One tired group of Year 6 children returned to school today. They seemed older, wiser, bigger and bolder and we are incredibly proud of their positive attitude, bravery and ambition this week to embrace the new and be independent. They have represented our school brilliantly this week. Well done all!
