Summer 2…
Hispanic Week Cooking
Hemos estado cocinando muchísimo en nuestras clases de cocina esta semana. In cooking lessons this week we have learnt to cook a range of Spanish inspired salads. We focused on evaluating our recipes and making choices linked to the amount of seasoning, ingredients and thought about other ingredients we could add to our salads. Every one was very brave when trying new ingredients – and we even gave the instructions to our partners in Spanish when cooking!
Year 1 Chalkwell Beach Trip
Year 1 have been looking at beaches in geography and the history of traditional beach holidays in history. They went to Chalkwell beach on Friday to spend the day by the seaside! Families will also receive an introduction letter with a picture of the adults working in the room, the room layout and other information to help reduce any anxieties about the new year. Our new SENDCO will also be on site and on the gate to meet parents in the coming weeks.
If you have any concerns about transitions please speak to a member of staff and we hope to listen and reduce any worries.
