We could not be prouder of Year 6 Magpies this week. They have shown great grit and resilience throughout the week and supported each other with words of encouragement, excellent behaviour and consideration. Thank you to Coach Terry for organising and supporting the event. Well done Gainsborough!

Coming up at Gainsborough…
Goodbye to Ana, our Circular Food Economy Lead
We have been very lucky over the last 18 months to have worked with MadLeap to learn about circular food economies. Ana joined Gainsborough at the beginning or our circular economy journey and has been instrumental in joining the school, teaching and learning and the MadLeap growers together. She has taught students from Nursery to Year 6 on a weekly basis and has taught staff and children how to compost, plant, grow and harvest in our own school grounds. Ana has decided to leave London behind however she leaves an incredible legacy, with a curriculum we will continue to follow. We will start to work with MadLeap to source a new gardener and educator. Thank you Ana, you have inspired us to be greener and kinder to our planet, what could be important than that?
