While the children were there they had the chance to meet 5 ice hockey players who who showcased some skills a short match. The charity are small and are currently only working with Gainsborough to identify 10 children who they can support to start playing ice hockey. This week a group of players will also visit Gainsborough to come and speak with Year 4 and 5 children about the joy of ice hockey. We are looking for 10 players to receive support and be able to attend some sessions at Lee Valley, the children and families will be selected and written to if they are selected for this opportunity.

The event will be outside and include hot dogs, cakes and drinks, face painting and tattoos, the bouncy castle and other games for older children. Children will be asked to sign up for an Easter Egg hunt, they will need to find a series of clues to spell a word and make the word to then be awarded with an egg. £5 will get food an event and the chance to take part in the Easter Egg hunt. We will operate the ticket system, for ease for both parents and staff. Everyone is welcome!
