Christmas Jumper Day
We had a great day on Friday 12th December, wearing our Chrsitmas jumpers. Thank you to all of the children who wore their jumpers, joined in and had fun! The money raised from the sale of the Gainsborough Christmas jumpers is now in the hands of school council… let’s see what they chose to do with it in the new year.
Children versus Staff x table Rockstars Battles
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were challenged to a TT Rockstars battle against Mr Alexander this week. Unfortunately there was allegations of collusion and team work involving Mr Alexander and his colleagues. The children exposed this fact during assembly and we voted on a decision whether to disqualify him or not. The children voted to disqualify him and therefore his battle has not been won. The children voted for Ms Lydon to take on this week’s TT Rockstars battle. Will any of the children be able to beat Ms Lydon in this week’s timetables battle?

We ask that families meet us at St Mary of Eton and watch us perform from 9.30am. The children have worked really hard to learn the words, actions and songs their retelling of the nativity, we hop you can join us in celebrating the end of term with them. A huge thank you also to Reverend Sue and St Mary of Eton who have allowed us to perform in the Church again and welcome everyone with open arms.

FRoG’s Annual Christmas Party
Please join us for our PTA Annual Christmas Party (including special guest) Wednesday 17th December, 3.30-5.30pm. We will be serving some food and drinks, disco and dancing, cooking and crafting. We hope to see families to wish them happy holidays and say thank you for a wonderful term. This event is a fundraising event, we are aware at this time of year families feel the pinch, therefore £5 per children would be enough for food, drinks and activities during the event.
Last Day of Term
The last day of term is Thursday 18th December. Children from Nursery to Year 6 will need to be collected at 2pm. Preschool children will need to be collected by 6pm as usual. Friday 19th December is an INSET day for all staff, there are no children on site on Friday 19th December. Thank you for your support.
Sibling and Individual Photographs
All children from preschool through to Year 6 were given their photo cards this week. On the card is a QR code to take you straight to your child’s profile. There is a 20% off offer is orders are placed by 16th December. This will also ensure you get the orders before Christmas. The company we used this time has managed to capture some excellent pictures which really capture some character and personality. We hope to use Pret-a-Portriat again for our school photos, and we welcome your feedback on this company.
