This week at Gainsborough…
Autumn 1
This half term we are focusing on:
As Summer term. Our reflections on our current learning tell us we need to focus on the following:
- Improving attendance and punctuality across our school
- Developing a play strategy for children and families
- Embedding our approach to maths teaching and learning
- Developing the application of SCERTS at Gainsborough to support children with communication and language needs
Play at Gainsborough
Thank you to everyone who has donated dressing up costumes and sand and water toys over the term. We have introduced these into the playgrounds with great success this week and the children have loved having dresses, hats, bags and outfits to wear and role play in. We are still collecting the following items this half term, please add to the boxes in the school office if you can donate:
- suitcases, bags and travel related items
- guttering, pipes and tubes
