We are excited to announce our day of celebration of black culture on Friday 24th October. Throughout the year we learn about a range of cultures, in October we are very proud to celebrate black history month and shine a light on black excellence. Please join us at the 3 family sharing events on Friday 24th October: 9-10am Nursery and Reception Family Friday, 2.30-3.30pm our Parents in Class event will take the form of a school carnival and finally everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of food sharing, traditional dress and performance in our annual Black History Celebration event from 3.30-5.30pm. Please wear traditional dress or colours and bring a dish to share! #keepconnected

Nursery and Reception Sports Day. Well done to everyone involved today. It was a huge success due to the children’s fantastic behaviour and listening, excellent organisation, huge parent support, incredible year 6 pupils and a bucket load of sporting talent. Well done Gainsborough! #keepconnected
