Preschool Room Leader
Gainsborough Primary School is looking for a highly motivated and talented Level 3 Room Leader to join our expanding preschool provision. You will work alongside our dedicated Preschool Manager and preschool staff to support and extend the children’s learning in one of our core groups within this phase. The role requires someone who is passionate about children’s learning and who has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn. We are looking for candidates with a great energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to support us in this work.

We Are looking for someone who:
- is passionate about children’s learning
- has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn
- is eager to expand their knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching
- has experience of working within a school setting and managing groups
- has experience in supporting teaching and learning groups
- has experience of managing others
Significant experience in a child care role is essential; ideally in a variety of early years settings. A recognised Level 3 Early years qualification is essential for this role. If you are committed to helping children to make progress in every lesson, every day we would like to hear from you.

Start Date: 1st September 2026
Hours: 45 hours per week (8.00am-6.00pm) Monday to Friday, term time only plus three weeks – to be worked during school holidays
Closing Date: 12.00pm on Friday 2nd July 2026.
Interviews: Week beginning Monday 5th July 2026
Scale: 6 point 18-20 £43,819-£46,165 pro rata (£37,509-£38,637 FTE based on working 36 hours across 52 weeks of the year)
