Forest School Week 1

Our very first Forest School session was a total success despite the rainy weather! We loved looking for our new base camp under the thick canopy of trees in Wick Woodlands. In our first session, we showed how responsible we are; at looking after ourselves, each other and the environment, by following the Forest School rules. We spent over an hour exploring our base camp and searching for mini-beasts, linked to this term’s topic in Reception. We spotted earwigs, beetles, worms, snails and birds. While some of us were busy digging for treasures, we also got time to be peaceful in nature. Thank you to those parents who volunteered their time to help us. We hope to see more of you at base camp soon!
