This term Year 5 will be learning about Egyptians We will be exploring Ancient Egyptian civilisation. The children will learn about what they believed in, explore famous archaeological discoveries, discover more about the pharaohs and look at life after death.

On Friday, we will be celebrating by having a day where children can come to school wearing clothing of cultural significance to them / their family. This could be clothing from a country / countries of their heritage – traditional clothes or football shirts for example – or they could wear make-up to share their heritage instead. No donations are necessary – dress to celebrate!
